My Thoughts and Beliefs about Chinchillas

Newborn Babies! Yum! Newborn babies! Play time!

First Impression: When I first met Porky (my first chinchilla), the first thing that came to my mind was 'Oh, my gosh, he is really cute!'. I was very excited and happy to finally meet him. He was just so little, friendly, and adorable. I have had and met many charming animals but porky was extra charming to me. He is a little grown man now and I am happy that he has been a great pet to me.

Breeding: Chinchillas are still exotic to many people and not every pet store carries them. I decided to breed chinchillas to give more opportunities to people who are new to chinchillas and who wish to be chinchilla owners. Breeding chinchillas requires extra attention and care for them and I have been enjoying it very much. When I hug these beautiful babies in my arms, I get a big smile on my face and I feel great joy.

Long Life Span: Chinchillas have long life spans unlike other small animals, so it is very important for you to be prepared for a long-term commitment. A chinchilla's average life span is 15 years, although they have been known to live 20+ years.

Relationship: To achieve a close relationship with your chinchilla, gaining trust from him/her is the first thing you need to focus on. It requires time and patience. I know it doesn't sound like fun but once you have gained their trust, you will know that it was worth it.

The Whole Package: Chinchillas are naturally clean (have very soft fur), intelligent, and adorable. Now, let's be honest. Don't you want to have one ??!?? I know you are dying to get one~~~ !

Little note: Chinchillas are also known as "Chins" and "Chinnies". I like to call them little fur balls!

Hello chin lovers,
Get Firefox! Besides being a chin mom, I am also a web developer. If you are using Internet Explorer to view websites, I strongly recommend that you switch to Firefox. Internet Explorer has many security holes through which viruses or warms can harm your computer. Firefox is more secure, has more options, and is absolutely free. It's an open-source program, which means the source code is freely available to anyone. Programmers from around the world collaborate to create Firefox and to make sure that it's secure. In contrast, Internet Explorer was created by a handful of programmers working for Microsoft, and it's closed-source, so no one really knows how many more security holes are lurking inside, ready to be discovered and exploited. Good luck! - Cindy
